Goldcrest Village is located on the university campus.
IBANGS has reserved a block of rooms for meeting attendees.
Single rooms and apartments with 4-6 bedrooms are available.
Reservations will be processed through the Goldcrest Village website.

A few points to note:

  •  Availability of accommodation will be given on a first come basis and is not guaranteed so early booking is advised
  • A minimum of 2 or more night’s stay will apply
  • The Single Occupancy Rate is €74 per night and the Double Occupancy Rate is €122 per night
  • Delegates will be allocated to bedrooms in shared apartments with other delegates from the event they are attending where possible

The Dean Hotel has agreed to hold rooms for GBB23 Attendees until 4 weeks prior to arrival, after which time and rooms not reserved will be released. For bookings, please email the Dean Hotel directly, there is no promo code system. Getting There

Travelling to Ireland

There are daily direct flights to Ireland from a wide range of cities in the UK, Europe and the US, along with flights from the Emirates.

Airports include:

» Ireland West Airport Knock (www.irelandwestairport.com), located just over one hour’s drive from Galway city

» Shannon International Airport (www.shannonairport.com), located just over one hour’s drive from Galway city

» Dublin Airport (www.dublinairport.com), located just over two hours from Galway city

Getting to Galway

Galway city is served by an extensive public transport network linking Dublin, Shannon and Knock airports. This includes:

» Irish Rail, offering numerous daily train transfers from Dublin City with travel time from 2 hours 10 minutes

» Regular bus services operated by Bus Éireann, Go Bus, Citylink and Eir Eagle, with fully air-conditioned coaches equipped with free Wi-Fi. The motorway from Dublin Airport to Galway City allows for travel time from 2 hours 20 minutes, with direct bus services operating every half hour (Dublin Airport Terminal to Galway City Centre). Knock and Shannon Airports are currently serviced by Bus Éireann, expanding services to accommodate the growing number of passengers to each airport.

A nursing space will be available for breastfeeding moms.
