About Us

IBANGS, the International Behavioural and Neural Genetics Society, was founded in 1996 and promotes research and learning in the field of behavioral and neural genetics. IBANGS is an established society with several hundred members worldwide. The membership is diverse, and includes established scientists, postdoctoral fellows, students, and individuals with a keen interest in behavioural neurogenetics. We welcome new members. IBANGS is a founding member of the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies.

Membership Rates

  • Memberships are effective from Jan 1 – December 31. New memberships and renewals received after 10/1 are effective through the following calendar year.
  • Current membership rates: 
    • $135 regular membership with online G2B access
    • $45 student membership (undergraduate, graduate or postdoc) with online G2B access
